SAPTU - Agricultural - Western Cape

An Agricultural Sector meeting was held on 2 June 2007 with delegates from Worcester and Villiersdorp who came to request assistance from SAPTU on work related matters. SAPTU took a decision to extend its arm to the agricultural sector with immediate effect. At this meeting Mr. Lucas Phaewana was also introduced to members of the management committee. Mr. Phacwana will be an asset to SAPTU with recruiting in the agricultural as well as the hospitality sector. The following farms in the agricultural sector were recruited Nooitgedacht and Nuywal from Worcester, Lemoenspoort in Villiersdorp and Rhebokskraal in Robertson.
